There is parking for one vehicle at Slee cottage. The car parking area is level. If guests have two cars then there is a permit available for a car to be parked on the nearby car park. There is a deposit to be paid for this permit but it will be refunded when it has been left at the cottage upon departure. Car parking for the cottage is at the rear of the cottage and this is accessed via a one car width lane.

Entrance:

The nearest entrance to the cottage from the car parking area is via the back door. The ground is level from the car parking area to the back door then there is one step 6" high into the cottage. The door is 33" wide, hinged on the left and the door handle is 40" from the ground. The door opens directly into the kitchen. At right angles to the back door there is a sliding patio door with a maximum opening width of 23". There is a porch at the front of the cottage which is accessed by a pedestrian lane. The porch has double doors overall width 50". Entrance from the lane into the cottage is virtually level. Once inside the porch there is a front door hinged on the right 34" wide with a knob 34" from the ground. Porch floor and hall floor are level with both porch doors and front door having low level weatherboards.

Ground Floor- Kitchen, Dining Area and Lounge Area

The kitchen is fitted on two walls with appliances and cupboards and there are wall cupboards to the height of the ceiling. The washer/dryer is fully automatic and front loading. Dishwasher is integrated and has a drop down door. The Gas cooker has 4 hob burners, oven with two shelves and is opened with a door hinged on the left and the grill has a drop down door not within the oven. The Fridge and Freezer have doors that are hinged on the right. The microwave is on a shelf approximately 5' from the floor. The kitchen is well lit with natural light from the window and sunken spotllights in the ceiling. The boiler is in the kitchen. Flooring is laminated. From the open plan kitchen there is a 2" step leading into the dining area. The oval shaped table is 5' 6" long and 3' wide and is of normal height and is supported by central pedestal legs. The chairs are moveable. There is solid oak flooring throughout the dining and lounge area. There are two good sized double sofas. Also a games chest and bookcase. Television/Video is remote controlled as is the DVD Player. There is a CD/Radio. There is a good selection of videos, CD's and DVD's.

Off the lounge area there is a small cupboard where the upright vacuum cleaner, iron and ironing board, brushes and mop are housed.

Hall and stairs.

A door 27" wide and hinged on the left leads to the hallway. The hallway is 30.5" wide at the narrowest point and leads to the front door. The floor is the same solid oak wood as in the dining/lounge area.

Stairs lead from the hallway to the upper two floors. There are three steps then six going around 180 degrees then three more steps to the first floor landing. From the first floor landing to the upper floor there are four steps through 90 degrees then three more steps to a half landing then three steps through 90 degrees then three steps to top landing.. The final top four steps are only 21" wide. All the stairs are carpetted and the staircase is well illuminated with natural light and electric lighting.
